Born in September 1991 in southern China? Sijing Ye participated in numerous piano competitions in China and abroad, earning recognition both at home and internationally for several prizes, most notably: Gina Bachauer International Junior Piano Competition (second place), June 2004, Salt Lake City, U.S.A.; International Music Competition Jeunesses Musicales Bucharest (first place, category C, age 14-18) in May 2004; 5thInternational Chopin Piano Competition in Asia (silver prize in Final Stage) in February 2004; and The Second Asian Youth Music Competition Pianoforte Section, children's group (first place) in January 2004 in Hong Kong. In December of 2005, Sijing won first prize at the Steinway and Sons International Youth Piano Competition in area of China. Sijing just won the Liszt concerto competition in Aspen festival on June 25 and she had a performance in Aspen Music Tent.

Sijing Ye has been invited to collaborate with Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra (2005) and the Miami International Piano Festival Orchestra (2006). She also had piano recitals for the *Prodigies and Masters of Tomorrow* Series at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Amaturo Theater.

Sijing Ye is a versatile young virtuoso, with interests not only in piano, but also in singing, dancing, chess and other sports.

Sijing has been accepted by Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and Julliard School of Music in New York with a full scholarship

Sijing is currently enrolled in the Juilliard pre-college division study piano with Ms.Yoheved Kaplinsky and she is a tenth grade at the Professional Children’s School.
